Led by their diamond encrusted leader Nicky Barnett, a swanky Hummer limousine pulled up at 7477 West Layton in beautiful (huh?) downtown Greenfield, WI. yesterday for a fun-filled buying extravanganza at The Jewelry Center (see photo). Owner Dean Murray, America's best looking and most knowledgeable jeweler, took the fellas on a quick tour of the place, and then unleased his professional staff on the boys.
Dreadlocked Morgan Burnett bought a couple of earrings for himself, and one of those cool gold-trimmed globes for his dealer. Justin Harrell picked out a "really tiny dot" for Ted's left ear for when the GM "is not working." Mike Neal bought a nice necklace for his mom, and a big ass medallion & chain for himself. And Brady Poppinga, the lone non-brother in the crew, bought a new watch battery for his $20 Timex.
Nicky the B added to his already stunning collection, picking up a nifty 3 finger ring $$$ piece (see photo) and a Barack Obama necklace that Murray says he "can hardly keep in stock."
Finally, TE Jermichael Finley not only bought several items for he and his wife, but he picked up a nice item for his buddy Donald Lee, who despite his best efforts, has been unable to get "injured enough" to make the IR Roster. "I feel bad for DLee; he's been hurdling guys on screen passes trying to land awkwardly, cut blocking DE's leading with his shoulders, dropping passes in front of hard-charging safeties, you name it, but he just can't get hurt badly enough to come and hang. So I thought this gangsta chain (see photo) might take his worries away from preparing for this week's ass-whupping against the Jets."
Speaking of the Jets game, which is of course near New York City at the New Meadowlands in Jersey, the IR Squad's next outing is to Manhattan. "Oh man, we're excited, said Nicky the B. While the "real" squad is prepping at the hotel and in bed by 11, we'll be hitting the clubs, banging the locals, and flaunting our new trinkets and baubles from The Jewelry Center, 7477 West Layton in Greenfield. It should be off the hook. We only wished we had gotten injured sooner!"

After the stop at the TJC, the limo headed over to On The Border, for the fun-filled luncheon special with Trixi, Bambi, and all the other spotters, before heading back up I-43 to plot their next adventure together. Said Derrick Martin, "this is so much better than special teams it ain't even funny!"
